Lady Lizzie's Handbag

This started out a tri-fold card....and morphed into a little handbag card that would be perfect to tuck some images into, some tea, some seeds or some other fun little goodie. Stamps are by Lizzie Anne Designs. The cardstock is SU!'s black and the new in color red. The green scalloped panel is from Archiver's. I hand stitched around the panels. The flower is cut out and the centers of each petal are also cut out. The gold flower is a brad. I stamped a second flower and cut it slightly smaller, layering it under the main flower. The flower petals are curled upwards, so there is quite a bit of dimension. From the sides, the lower flower appears to be leaves as well. The ribbon is vintage ribbon with wire, so it holds it's shape nicely. The little black metal dots are from JoAnn Fabrics. The black scallop punch is the pink one from Marvy.
I colored the flower with Copics. R29 Lipstick Red and R39 Garnet. I used the 0 Colorless Blender to push the color from the petal tips towards the center of the flower.
I used SU!'s Word Window Punch to make little sides to my purse to hold in the little goodies. They graduate in size so the purse *opens* a bit.
