Digital Tuesday Challenge 24 ~ Clean and Simple Fall Card
This week's challenge at Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog was to make a Clean and Simple Fall Card. This one was a challenge for me....but since I made this card, I've made several others....it always amazes me where inspiration comes from! Our challenge this week is sponsored by KLM Designs!
My digital image this week is from Fred, She Said Designs. I singled out a Faux Foldy Flower Outline from the collection, cropped it and printed it out as a 4x6 photo. I printed the black and white image twice on some BasicGrey yellow designer paper, then accented my petals with Copic Markers.
Similarily, I did the same thing for the leaves from the Faux Foldy Flower Collection, only printing them out as a wallet sized photo and in a contact print size....perfect for my flower...and as these are pre-colored, I left them alone.
The designer paper is a freebie from Fred, She Said....it was the perfect fit for the feel I was going for with this card. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. The button is vintage from my pal Debbie....I thought it made the perfect sunflower center!
So....in my attempt to be *simple* I only used ONE layer of designer paper, ONE flower image, ONE button, ONE stamp and ONE form of texture (faux stitching)! Thanks for stopping by, I'd love to hear what you think!
