Embellish-Online.com ~ Tricks and Treats Blog Hop!
Welcome to the last stop on the Embellish-Online.com Tricks and Treats Blog Hop! By now you have picked up lots of TRICKS and I have a bunch more to share with you here! If you are just popping by....be sure to check out all the details of the blog hop HERE and enter to be eligible to win a package of TREATS from Barb!
I have two different projects and lots of tricks to share with you today, so be sure to scroll all of the way down!
My first project uses American Crafts Halloween Collection, Clear Pillow Boxes and American Crafts Hocus Pocus Thickers.
My first TRICK is a cutting tip. I cut out a lot of design elements from my designer papers and also cut out a lot of detailed stamped images. I find that, for me, it works the best to use the center of the scissors when cutting, not the tips.....and to turn my *work* and not my hand for smoother cuts. Try it! I cut out all of the cuppycake pics as well as the haunted houses!
My second TRICK is that the small pillow box in the foreground of the photo is actually recycled BasicGrey button packaging! It is the perfect size for a treat for your little spooks, just cut the hang tab off!
I will share the details of the cards featuring The Rubber Cafe's Bat House on Sunday!

My second project uses Cosmo Cricket's Boyfriend Crafting Kit, American Crafts Thickers, and Cuttlebug's Tag Sale Alphabet. What young feller won't grin when he gets the gift of money?!
For the You Rock/CASH set, my TRICK is simply using a punched circle and piercing to accent a small design element.
For 16th Birthday/Gas Money set, my TRICK is to use the die cut scraps for letters! I used the G and M scraps, roughly cut out for my letters. I also cut out my key and looped it onto my S!
The rubbery hit the road sticker came from Daiy Hill/Big Lots and the Happy Birthday is from Savvy Stamps. The Cuttlebug alphabet adds some fun to this set!

For the Enjoy the Journey/U got money set, my TRICK is to use up every little scrap of your favorite designer papers.....make inchies! I left some squares black to make a fun design! Another TRICK is to use up all of your precious Thickers! I used a U instead of you, I made a G, since I didn't have one left, and I used an asterisk in the place of an O. The Tim Holtz stamp on the card has a backwards E in it....it coordinates well with the fun message on the gift envelope!
So...I hope you had fun checking out all of the projects....and good luck to you!
