Happy Birthday Melissa!

Today's card for The Rubber Cafe is a birthday card for Melissa...and I'm sending a vintage card her way with wishes for an enjoyable day and a prosperous new year!

I stamped an image from the Bon Apetit set on a Spellbinders Beaded Oval Die Cut.  I distressed the panel with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Frayed Burlap and Walnut Stain.

I colored the image with Tim Holtz Distress Markers in Old Paper, Walnut Stain, Milled Lavender, Victorian Velvet and Shabby Shutters. 

I stamped on some My Mind's Eye designer paper with the Pattern Royale in Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. 

Finishing touches include Prima flower/gem, nail heads and some paper embroidery for a touch of color and interest.
