Our Creative Corner - It's Embossible!
A fun challenge with Our Creative Corner Challenge Blog this week....embossing! I'm wondering though if it would be more of a challenge to have a card with NO embossing, for me anyway!!
This card is another clean off my desk card....I *needed* to make a card last night....it's been a while and my mind was racing. As always, a few hours puttering in my studio did the trick...so thanks for the fun girls!!
For this card I used Archiver's Truffle Cardstock and a piece of BasicGrey's Bittersweet collection that has been run through Cuttlebug's circle embossing folder and lightly sanded. I added faux stitching to this panel as well.
The Martha Stewart Scalloped Lace Edge punch piece was from my odds-n-ends bin...I trimmed it down, layered it on Truffle cardstock and wrapped it with some vintage seam binding.
The Nestibilites panel and the distressed oval were in my punched piece odds-n-ends bin. I stamped the Penny Black sentiment with Tim Holtz's Walnut Stain ink. The SU! flowers were in my odds-n-ends bin and had been colored with SU! markers and carefully cut out leaving a narrow border. I popped a vintage button in the center and added a tiny Martha Stewart Butterfly punch...viola...a fun vintage card to share with a friend!
