Digital Tuesday Challenge #82

Welcome to another Digital Tuesday...Sandy is our hostess this week, and she chose a challenge to get us out of our groove! We had to use something on our card that we wouldn't normally use. Think something from the kitchen, or something from outside.

I have this awesome son who is clued in to his mom's quirky ways...and he picks up pieces of birch bark or anything else that looks like something I might stick on a card! I decided to use some on this card to add a more earthy feel.

I used a combination of images and techniques on this card. The sunflowers are pre-colored sunflowers from Fred, She Said Designs. The pumpkin image is a FREEBIE that Tracey-Lynn is offering over on the Crafter's Digital Art Center for a limited time. I colored the pumpkin image with Copic Markers and distressed the edges with a bit of Tim Holtz's Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I love the texture of the Cuttlebug Braches embossing folder.

We would love to have you join us for the challenge on the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog. Be sure to use at least one digital image...and one thing that you normally wouldn't stick on a card! Doodle Pantry is our sponser this week...and some lucky participant will be glad they played along!! Good Luck!
