Goodwill ~ Power of Work Blog Hop with CANDY!
Welcome to the first Goodwill "the power of work" Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Heidi's blog, if not please go to the beginning of the blog hop at STAMPERGIRL'S BLOG.
Today finalizes Goodwill's "the power of work" week, a yearly effort done to promote the idea of supporting your local Goodwill stores.
Our challenge to you is to use a Goodwill find in your project. Think of all the possibilities, it could be an altered item, or use some buttons or fabric from a vintage shirt. Through out the blog hop you will find inspiration from all the amazing line up we have for you.
My card uses some music that I took from an old piano lesson book I found at Goodwill...how handy the title fits my image! You can pick up these old books for a very reasonable price and distress the sheets of music any way you wish. I added some Walnut Stain Distress Ink to my paper, a touch of faux stitching and some distressing to my edges. Also be sure to check out the sewing notions area! I've scored some seam binding, ric rac, vintage buttons and that sort of thing in the past.

.
In addition to that, some of the ladies have some giveaways too!
