CropStop Oval/Becky Fleck Challenge
It's Thursday and time for a new CropStop Challenge. This week it is OVALS and a Becky Fleck Sketch for you!
I went with the oval theme....and used some of Cuttlebug's fabulous Embossing Plus folders. My finished card measures about 5x7.
I used the Embossing Plus Brocade Window folder for the large panel of my card. These folders are fun because they both emboss and die cut your cardstock. Then, while the cardstock is still in the folder, you can lift a clear flap and the metal die serves as a stencil! I took the Tim Holtz Milled Lavender Distress Marker and a water pen and lightly painted all of the exposed embossed surfaces for a distressed watercolor effect.
For the oval portion of my card, I used the Embossing Plus Elegant Ellipse folder. This time I chose not to watercolor the embossed portions.
The sentiment is from Fred, She Said Digital Designs and is called Sentimental Flower Doodledallion Set. I popped up the sentiment on foam tape. I added gems, prima flowers and some paper embroidery to finish my card.
We hope you take time to join in our challenge for a chance at a fabulous prize. Also, I have for my blog readers a 10% coupon off of any sized order. Enter CTMP-2 for your savings. You will want to check out the CropStop store....there are loads of new products fresh from CHA!
