Winter Friends Coaster Box!

Hello there! I have a really adorable project for MarkerPop for the holiday season!

First and foremost, you really must get the Some Odd Girl Clear Winter Friends Set!! It is my new favorite winter set of the moment! Subject to change...but I'm just not done playing with it yet! I created a coaster box and embellished the four sides with most of the images in the set!

For this project I colored images with the following Copic Markers: YG63, YG61, YR15, R89, R39, RV10, W5, W3, W1. I stamped the bear and then gave his cheeks a touch of pink before gluing and flocking him! I LOVE how he turned out! I glittered the edges of my sentiment banner for a touch of frost!
I created my box with FIVE 4x4 inch cardboard squares since that is what I had handy. You could use coasters if you have them. I covered four of the coordinating pieces of paper from DoverCraft's collection called Let It Snow. I then punched five holes on each side of each piece.
Then I used four 28 inch pieces of seam binding to lace my sides together. I tied the ends together in a bow at the top of each side and trimmed off the excess ribbon. Once the sides were tied to form the square, I glued the bottom piece and carefully created my box.
For the next side of my box, I used a glittery snowman element on the designer paper and just added a few elements from the Winter Friends set. I glittered the heart and again framed my sentiment in snowy glitter!
For this side I used up some smaller scraps of the designer paper...I faux stitched and distressed it so it looks like I meant it to be that way!

My final side of the box features the cute penguin images...they are so sweet! So, there you have a fun little box that you can tuck some holiday goodies in...Enjoy!
