CropStop Copic Tutorial - Adding Texture with Blending Solution

Today I'm sharing another Copic Tutorial for CropStop on adding texture to your projects using the Copic Colorless Blender (0).

I colored my image from Heartfelt Creations' Scenic Combo Precut set with Copic Markers. I didn't work so hard to blend my grass colors, I mainly was trying to lay in the different tones.

Now the magic happens! Apply the colorless blender to a piece of an old washcloth. You can either use a bottle of blender fluid, or the smaller pen refills. Moisten your cloth and then apply it carefully to the areas you want to textre. In this case the grass and trees.

Here is another scenery card that I did in a similar fashion.

Lay in the colors that you wish.

Next, apply the colorless blender with your cloth as desired. Try this with different cloths for different textures. Try it on different images...animals for instant fur! Experiment!

Other items on my cards available at CropStop include:

Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval Window Die

Cuttlebug Herringbone Embossing Folder

Spellbinders Large Deckle Rectangle Die

Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Frayed Burlap

Bo Bunny Timepiece 6x6 Pad
