I'm jumping into blogland today!

Today is a special day for me, I've just been notified that I've been selected as a design team member for http://www.embellish-online.com/. I'm totally thrilled to be able to contribute my work using their products to their gallery and working with the other design team members.

A little about me. I'm a SAHM of a 1 year old dd and a 5 year old ds. I've been stamping for the last 15 years and am totally addicted to all things paper related, but please don't save me!!! Stamping is my sanity saver....it keeps my mind occupied and gives me satisfaction to create *something* out of a pile of fun supplies. I teach stamping workshops and love trying new techniques and like a variety of styles. I've been published several times and look forward to submitting more work to be considered for publication. I'm a night-owl....so if you're up late creating, chances are I am too!!

I'm new to blogging....so bear with me as I learn the ropes. I'm looking forward to getting to know more people through blogging, so pop in with a comment any time... I'd love to hear from you!

Card info:
This is a fun peek-a-boo shaker card. There is prisma glitter in between acetate taped to the frame back and the acetate taped to the card front. The frame and card are separated by a layer of foam tape. The slide mount is attached by glue dots on the corners. The ribbons are wrapped around the frame and tied with metallic embroidery floss to avoid added bulk.

Snowflake Stamp: Stampin Up! stamped in black Stazon
Tiny Snowflakes: Hampton Art Stamps
Card, Frame, Slide Mount: The Paper Cut, Appleton, WI
Metal Sentiment: Lasting Impressions
Dotted Ribbon: May Arts
Satin Edged Ribbon: Offray
Silver Thread: DMC metallic embroidery floss
