Happy Shopping & Stamping!
This card features the CCM088-Flower Power stamp set and the Kissing Technique!
I inked up an old Hero Arts Super Solids Background S2057 up with some Fresco Venetian Sunrise Fluid Chalk Ink.  Then I inked up the small flowers in the Flower Power set with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink.  You simply *kiss* them together, reink the flowers and repeat.  HUFF on the background to re-moisturize the inks and stamp!
I stamped the peace symbol images with Memento ink and colored them in with Copic Markers:

G24, YG67, E47, BG05, Y38, R43, RV17, V06.  I accented a few of the flowers with a white Signo Gel Pen.
Finally, I fussycut the circlular peace symbols and popped them up on foam tape.  Each has a bit of wrinkled seam binding for a fun touch!

When I'm Not Stamping....

This is one of two blog posts today, please scroll for more inspiration!
Michelle here, and today's post for MarkerPop is to learn a little bit more about me! If I'm not playing with pretty paper...I love to putter with beauty in nature! While my little plot looks very meager to a real garden, I do enjoy the flowers I've managed to plant in my small town lot! If you want to take a peek.....these were some beauties that can be found in my garden! Click photos to enlarge them....nature is so beautiful when we take time to stop and look! about stunning, glorious and fantabulous!
....may all your weeds be wildflowers~ c'mon, admit it....those dandelion photos are very pretty!!! LOL!

I'll close my post by saying I'm not a photographer....but I hope you enjoyed a summer stroll through my garden!

Winter's butterfly....

I've been in the glitter again!  This time with the new Crystal Snowflake Digi from Fred, She Said Digital Designs!  There are some new fun winter images in the store...and don't forget:  Get 10% off over $10, 20% off over $20 ALWAYS :)

For this card I printed the image on an Ink Jet Transparency sheet.  I then applied glue to the reverse side of the image, tracing the image and then covering it with Blue Skies You're So Fine Glitter.

I attached the fussy cut snowflake to some white glitter paper and embellished it with a button.
Papers are a blue frosted coated cardstock and designer paper from Bo Bunny.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Happy Fall!

This is one of two posts today, please scroll for more inspiration!
Today I have a Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps creation using oak and maple leaf clear set 2, pumpkin and snowman set, pumpkin die, oak and maple leaf die, small oak leaf, gears clear set, steampunk drifter, and clearly beautiful pumpkin sets.

I stamped the various images on scraps of polished stone papers with black Stazon Ink.  I used dies to cut some of the pieces and fussy cut the rest.

Designer paper is from My Mind's Eye's Stell and Rose collection.

Be sure to pop by the Prickley Pear blog today to see lots more inspiration from the design team!

Book Worm!

This is one of two posts today, please scroll for more inspiration!
It's that time of year.....when you just want to curl up in the evenings in your jammies with a good book!
Lora from One Crazy Stampers sent along the Book Worm image from High Hopes Rubber what to do but make a few book markers!  I have a 10 year old bookworm in the house....who usually has pile of books he's in the process of reading.

I colored the images with Copic Markers:  R59, R56, YG67, YG17, YG23, BG75, BG72, YR27, YR23, E49, E47, E44, E43.  Papers are from Basic Grey's Clippings collection.   I distressed the papers with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Prickley Pear Inspiration Post!

Welcome to another Thursday Theme Inspiration post (on Friday!)  This week we are going to focus on the Clearly Beautiful Pumpkin/Snowman set and die!

Here is a fun way to change the look of the Let It Snow sentiment included with this set....trim it down leaving a narrow border and mat for a smaller sentiment with a totally different feel!
Pumpkin & Snowman Die
Here is Mr. Pumpkin all decked out for fall!  The same die cuts out this sweet fellow!

I stamped the fall sentiment on paper that I had distressed with alcohol inks and Copper Mixatives.  Since the sentiment paper was glossy, I stamped the sentiment with Stazon ink.

I used the Scalloped Oval Die and DD0135 Small Oak Leaf to embellish my card.

Finally, I have one more card with the snow couple....all decked out for the holidays!  The die they are layered on is the throw-away piece from the Spellbinders Twisted Metal die.  Not much gets tossed in my stampin studio....especially if it's already die cut and is specialty paper! *wink!*

The blog hop starts today and ends on Sunday, October 28th at midnight Central time. Please visit each design team members’ blog to view their projects and leave a comment for each designer. Wonderful Washi Take 3!

Today I'm playing with Washi Tape again for MarkerPop.  I taped a panel and then die cut a circle from it.  That circle I framed with a Spellbinders Die to make an ornament or a card panel.   I used Lawn Fawn's Winter Fox set for this set.

Next I used the cut off piece as a frame for my card.

For this set I used Lawn Fawn's Winter Owl.  I colored the images with Copic Markers: R59, R46, YR04, 110, E49, E47, E44, T4, T2, E37, E35.

Finally...a little tip!  How about some Washi Storage?!  I picked up this slacks hanger at a yard sale...and for $1.00 I have a handy dandy holder for my tapes...twine too for that matter!  You don't even need to take them off to use them!

Fall - When Nature Turns To Gold!

This is one of two posts today, please scroll for more inspiration!
It's Prickley Pear Monday...and today I'm sharing with you some of the new red rubber fall release that will be released soon!

I was still a glittery I used the glitter and acetate technique again...this time using Art Institute Glitters.  I chose them for the variety of colors that I wanted for this fall themed card.  I stamped the Sunflower With Vines and 3 Sunflowers images with Stazon ink onto Acetate.  Then I applied the glue to the back of the image and the glitters.

The beautiful Nature Turns To Gold sentiment is stamped directly on the designer paper.  I then popped up a portion of the sentiment on a foam taped banner shape.

Be sure to stop over to the Prickley Pear blog this week and check out some of the other new fall images!

So Happy Together!
