Let It Snow!

...SOMEPLACE ELSE!! It's -8* here tonight and more snow is on it's way! This card has an icy feel to it...probably because that's what we feel whenever we venture out! BRRR!

Card base is black, silver cardstock has been run through the snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder. The peppermint striped paper was a RAK I received. Image is a $1.00 Whippersnapper one I picked up this fall. She's decked out with Copic markers, flocking on her tummy and Diamond Glaze on her candy cane. A Gold Spica Glitter Pen has been added to the ground below her. I doodled around the edge of the image. Snowflake is by Martha Stewart and the heart is a Stampendous Sparkledot sticker. Let it snow is a plastic embellishment I picked up somewhere, source unknown. Ribbon is Offray.

Great card. Love the CB silver...looks so cool. Enjoy the storm. We had a blizzard yesterday and a sunny day today..so it will be warm again.

I recently found a stamp set (in the Hot Spot at Archivers)- one said "Let it snow" and the other said "Make it stop" LOL! We've been spared (knock on wood) the snow, but it is a less than balmy 10 degrees above here.
Such a cute card, Michelle! The heart brad on the snowflake is just the perfect touch! And, I'll have to try the cuttle folder on metallic paper - what a cool effect!
Stay warm and safe!
Have a wonderful holiday,
Catherine
