McMahon Five Designs Release Card Duo

This is one of two posts today....so be sure to scroll down to check out the other one for more inspiration!

Today I have two totally different styles of card to share with you featuring new images from the McMahon Five Designs Release.

I kept them both clean and simple.  The first card features a new set from Studio 313 Exclusive Designs called My Deerest Dear.

I used paper piecing to color my deer and added Copic and Prismacolor Pencil accents.  I used a simple pierced frame to finish of my image.  My deerest friend is accented with an Ultra Fine Point Sharpie.

Designer paper is by Karen Foster, ribbon is from Michael's Dollar Ribbon Bin.
My second card features an image from McMahon Five Vintage Digitals collection called Fall.
I masked a white border around the sky portion of this image and then used Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Spices Marmalade and Scattered Straw to color my sunset.

I used the following Copic markers to color my image: BG78, BG75, BG72, BG70, E47, E44, E27, E11, YR24, YR16, YR09, YR07. YG95.

Designer papers are from Authentique Blissful Collection.  The button is vintage and I tied it with Linen Thread.

Be sure you stop by the McMahon Five Designs Blog to see all of the other beautiful inspiration by the design team!

You are so CREATIVE with the paper pieced deer--I LOVE that!! Super sweet all around. I'm gonna have to try that with this adorable deer. And great sponged sky on your 2nd card! *Ü*

I love your creativity with the Plaid paper piecing- I never would have though of that! Very cute! The sky in the vintage image is wonderful- the white border really makes this pop! I love the button too!
Two amazing cards, Michelle. Love the simplicity of them both which means the images take centre stage.
Blessings
Maxine
